Our Story

From Tactical Foundations

With over a decade in intense police roles culminating in Counter-Terrorism Tactical Operations, Brendan May experienced what truly resilient teams can achieve under extreme pressure.

The transition to business leadership wasn't always smooth sailing because the reality is that organisations aren't Special Forces or Counter-Terrorism. The learnings from these teams are valid - but they aren't plug and play, and businesses can't take people off the floor to commit to the months it takes to drill operator level skills into teams.

From 12 years in senior operational roles across FMCG, major infrastructure projects, and complex Alpine Resort operations, Brendan has refined the process to translate elite practices into business reality.

The pattern is always the same:

Leaders who can manage stress, create psychological safety and coach effectively, build teams that perform under pressure. Leaders who can't, don't.

High-performing teams don't happen by accident - they're built on clear standards and accountabilities, with systems that work, established before pressure hits.

Capable leaders and strong teams still fail without the right organisational foundations. Without systems that support decision-making and processes that scale under pressure, even excellent teams deteriorate.

Organisational Resilience isn't about toughness or grit - it's about building all three layers simultaneously.
